Destiny Atlas for Claude
Connect Destiny Atlas to Claude and get BaZi, Zi Wei, natal chart, tarot and I Ching readings right in your conversation.
The Destiny Atlas connector lets Claude, the AI assistant made by Anthropic, use the same calculation engines that power destiny-atlas.com. Ask Claude to read your BaZi chart, cast an I Ching hexagram or draw tarot cards, and it calls Destiny Atlas for an accurate chart or draw, then talks you through the result. No Destiny Atlas account is needed.
How to connect
- In Claude, open Settings → Connectors.
- If Destiny Atlas is listed in the connectors directory, select it and choose Connect. Otherwise choose Add custom connector.
- For a custom connector, enter the name Destiny Atlas and the server URL below. No sign-in or API key is needed.
- Start a new conversation and ask for a reading. Claude uses Destiny Atlas automatically when it helps.
The connector works anywhere Claude supports remote connectors: on the web, in the desktop and mobile apps, and in Claude Code. Organisation admins on Team and Enterprise plans may need to allow it first.
What Claude can do with Destiny Atlas
The connector offers 12 tools. All of them are read-only: they calculate or draw a reading and never change anything in an account.
BaZi chart · calculate_bazi
Four Pillars with hidden stems, Ten Gods and NaYin, Day Master, five-element distribution, a preliminary favourable-element tendency, a personality reading and the bone-weight verse. Supports lunar-calendar dates and true solar time correction from the birthplace.
Zi Wei Dou Shu chart · calculate_ziwei
The twelve-palace astrolabe with major and minor stars, star brightness, life and body palace, five-element bureau and palace readings.
Western natal chart · calculate_natal_chart
Sun, Moon and Rising signs, Midheaven, the chart ruler, the sign on each of the twelve houses, and the balance of elements and modalities across the planets. Needs the birth time and birthplace. Individual planet placements and aspects are part of the member report on the website.
Compatibility · check_compatibility
An overall score with sub-scores and getting-along suggestions for two people, combining Chinese zodiac relations, Western element affinity and BaZi Day Masters.
Numerology · calculate_numerology
Life Path Number and related numbers from a birth date and, optionally, a name.
Chinese name analysis · analyze_chinese_name
Five Grids analysis with Kangxi Dictionary stroke counts, the Three Talents configuration and character elements.
Zodiac daily forecast · get_zodiac_forecast
Daily love, career and wealth outlook by Chinese zodiac animal or Western star sign, for today or a chosen date.

A fresh draw from the full 78-card deck in one of seven spreads, upright or reversed, with an overall reading.
Oracle cards · draw_oracle_cards
One or three cards from the Healing, Animal Spirit or Cosmic Guidance deck.
I Ching · cast_iching
A hexagram by the three-coin method or the Plum Blossom two-number method, with changing lines, the resulting hexagram and classical text.
Astro dice · roll_astro_dice
A roll of the planet, sign and house dice for a quick symbolic answer.
Birthplace search · search_birthplace
Finds a city's coordinates and time zone when a birthplace name is ambiguous.
Things to ask
- Calculate my BaZi chart: born 15 May 1990 at 10am in Hong Kong, female.
- Draw a three-card tarot spread for: should I change jobs this year?
- What's my natal chart? Born 3 November 1988, 10:30pm in Sydney.
- Show my Zi Wei Dou Shu chart and explain my Career Palace.
- Cast an I Ching hexagram about my new project.
- How compatible are we? I was born 15 May 1990 at 10am (female), he was born 3 November 1988 at 10pm (male).
What to tell Claude
- BaZi, Zi Wei and compatibility: date of birth, birth hour and gender. Adding the birthplace makes BaZi more precise.
- Natal chart: date, time and city of birth.
- Numerology and zodiac forecasts: date of birth only.
- Tarot, oracle cards, I Ching and astro dice: just your question, or nothing at all.
Readings come back in English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese or Cantonese. Claude picks the language you are writing in.
Free readings, and what the website adds
The connector returns the same results as the free tier of destiny-atlas.com. In-depth member reports, such as luck cycles, yearly and monthly forecasts and detailed favourable-element analysis, are available on the website. Health forecasts are not included in connector results.
Data and privacy
Claude sends Destiny Atlas only the details needed for the reading you ask for, such as a birth date, time, gender, birthplace, a name or your question. These details are used to calculate the result and are not stored, and the connector is not linked to any Destiny Atlas account. If you give a city as the birthplace, the city name is sent to the Open-Meteo geocoding service to look up its coordinates and time zone. What you type in Claude is also handled by Anthropic under its own privacy policy. You can disconnect the connector at any time in Claude's settings.
Troubleshooting
- Claude answers without using Destiny Atlas: mention it by name, for example "Use Destiny Atlas to calculate my BaZi".
- The birthplace isn't found: try a larger nearby city, or add the country.
- Unsure of the birth time: say so. BaZi can still be calculated, with the hour pillar marked as approximate.
