11. Peace (Peace)

Heaven and earth meet, and communication flows freely between all levels. Fortune is smooth and favorable across the board — this is a rare, auspicious sign, so seize the opportunity while it lasts.

Judgment Text (Original): 小往大来，吉亨
Plain-Language Translation: The small departs and the great arrives — good fortune and prevailing.

Tuan Commentary (Original): 泰，小往大来，吉亨。则是天地交，而万物通也；上下交，而其志同也。内阳而外阴，内健而外顺，内君子而外小人，君子道长，小人道消也
Plain-Language Translation: Tai — the small departs and the great arrives, bringing good fortune and prevailing. This is because heaven and earth mingle their forces, so all things flow freely; those above and below exchange with one another, so their aims become one. Yang lies within and yin without, strength within and yielding without, the noble person within and the petty person without — the way of the noble person grows, while the way of the petty person fades.
